What is Docu Legalia?

Docu Legalia is an online platform that lets you create professional legal documents in minutes: GDPR consents, NDAs, authorizations, sworn statements and more. Includes certified electronic signature. A technology solution to speed up routine paperwork without prior legal knowledge and at lower cost.

Who is Docu Legalia for?

For SMEs, freelancers, entrepreneurs and digital businesses that need professional-quality documents quickly and affordably.

Do I need legal background to use Docu Legalia?

No. The whole process is guided. The platform explains each field step by step so you know what you are filling in.

Pricing and credits

How do credits work?

Docu Legalia credits are the platform's currency. Each document costs between 1 and 3 credits depending on its complexity.

Do credits expire?

Never. They stay active in your account indefinitely.

Are there monthly subscriptions?

No. You only pay for what you use (pay-per-use).

What payment methods do you accept?

Visa, Mastercard and American Express via the secure Stripe gateway.

Can I get an invoice?

Yes, you will receive your invoice automatically after each purchase.

Using the platform

Can I edit the document after generating it?

Yes. You can edit your documents for free during an initial period after creation. After that period, additional edits will use credits.

What format is the document downloaded in?

In professional PDF format, locked to ensure its integrity and ready to sign.

Can I share the document with other people?

Yes, you can send it via secure link or download the file.

Can I upload my own PDF documents?

Yes. Use the "Upload document" button in "My Documents" to upload your own PDFs. They appear alongside template-based documents (tagged "Uploaded"), and you can analyze them with AI, send them to sign, annotate them or download them.

Can I organize my documents into folders?

Yes. You can create nested folders and subfolders (for example, Client / Year / Type) from the "Folders" section and move documents with "Move to folder". Your folders are private and organizing them is free. Deleting a folder never deletes anything: its documents move to "No folder".

Can I view my documents as a folder tree?

Yes. In "My Documents" a button lets you switch between the list view (with filters by folder, source, status, signature and date) and the tree view (an explorer of folders, subfolders and documents, with its own search). Your chosen view is remembered for your session.

Does the electronic signature have legal effect?

Yes. Our electronic signature is compliant with:

  • eIDAS (EU Regulation 910/2014): Recognition across the entire European Union.
  • ESIGN Act and UETA: Regulatory compliance in the United States.

This grants your signed documents full evidentiary value before courts.

What is the audit trail?

The audit trail is an immutable technical record that captures:

  • Who: Identification of the signer.
  • When: Exact date and time (timestamping).
  • Where: IP address and device.

It is the technical evidence guaranteeing the document has not been tampered with.

What is the completion certificate?

It is an attached PDF document generated when the process completes. It includes:

  • The signed document
  • The audit trail
  • The cryptographic hash

It serves as robust legal evidence.

What is timestamping?

Qualified timestamping certifies the exact moment of signature using an independent time authority, preventing any later alteration of the date.

Does it work for international documents?

Yes. Being compliant with EU (eIDAS) and US (ESIGN) standards, it makes it easier to formalize agreements (NDAs, assignments) between parties from different countries.

Is my data safe?

Yes. We use bank-grade SSL/TLS encryption and encrypted storage. We comply strictly with the GDPR.

How is the content of my documents protected in the database?

The content of your documents and sensitive data (names, ID numbers, addresses) are stored with 256-bit bank-grade encryption, the same standard used by banks and governments. This means that, even in the hypothetical case of unauthorized access to the database, the information would be completely unreadable without the encryption key, which is kept separately and securely.

Encryption is applied transparently: you work with your documents normally, and the system handles encryption and decryption automatically on every operation.

Who can see my documents?

Only you. The content is confidential and access is restricted to your account.

Can I delete my account and my data?

Yes, you can request the complete deletion of your data and documents at any time from your dashboard.
